Saundra, I have been with the same dentist for maybe 30 years. My last appointment was cancelled because there was no NHS dentist available. When you ring up now the first thing you hear is "If you are a private patient.."

I think that many dentists now are going private.

1008 seating. 1600 standing. Better make that 1600 dancing.

I couldn't believe Don pulled a 'friend of friend' stunt and this lovely man got us guest list priority. :Hi:

hello all and good afternoon

Well done Amanda, and what a fabulous cause!
Ally, I bet you'd walk those 1400 miles if that's what it took to get to see the Proclaimers :D :D :D

apologies for the radio silence from me; super busy weekend. The builder came in this morning to take the wall down so lots of sorting and moving things to clear the space. But have to laugh - you know that sofa I mentioned in my post last week; well I put it on marketplace for a fair amount of money. Not cheap I know but always worth a try and at the end of the day - it is a very expensive sofa. So yesterday I had someone ask if it was still available and offered half the asking price so I said no and offered to drop my asking price by £100 and he still offered half. So needless to say that's one sale that wont' happen :D I've got the cheaper / older one on the site as well with an 'open to offers' price tag; so will see what that brings but have decided if push comes to shove that's the one I'll end up giving up / away for free.

Have a lovely rest of day everyone xxx

I am going to the dentist on 27th November. Had to re-arrange this appaointment and this was the first available date.
When the NHS contracts changed a few years ago the practice decided to go private only. It is very busy and refusing to take any new patients.

I go twice a year for a check up. It has been worth spending the money knowing my teth are still in good condition.
My dentist doesn't like taking teeth out.

I have just bought a ticket to go and watch a pantomine. It has ben a long time since I went to one.

Very expensive and and I didn't know anybody to get on the guest list. Only £10.00 as I am a pensioner.
It is at a ocal theatre which always gives good shows.
