Everybody in the family thinks I'm a complete nightmare to buy for.....

I guess they just don't listen. Then they try and work out what they think I might want working on what they want...... Pretty much me trying to shop for Mrs S though so I know how hard it is..... She thinks she's "easy" to shop for....

What's so difficult. This Christmas I need 32 GB of RAM, 2 x 128GB SSD's and 12 TB of hard drive space. Plenty for everybody to work on..... When else am I going to get it???? MRS S HATES me buying hardware for my computers but there is little else which I really want or need.

Yet everybody thinks that buying computer stuff for me is some kind of a let down....

Talk about putting their values into what I might like for Christmas...

Mick's xmas shopping used to consist of the Co-Op in Chesterfield - the department store rather than the food store. If they didn't sell it there I didn't get it.

Now he tends to go to Costco so everything I get is in bulk!

My main problem with shopping early is that if I buy anything edible (like xmas tree decorations or selection boxes) I just scoff them!
