We'll be watching the Poms thing too tomorrow.

Four more barrow loads of lavender gone  and loads more to dig up.

We've decided to get rid of it completely and then put some agaves and other nicer looking plants in. There is enough lvender left for the bees, in the rest of the garden.

Still blowy, but not as bad as yesterday.

Afternoon all, well it is for you, only 10.15am here.

Another scorcher 8-)

We're of out to explore some of the beaches here on the west coast, will stop off somewhere nice for lunch while we're out.

Love it over here, it doesn't take long to get into island life, we've hardly seen any news, it's so nice to totally switch off.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Well I went off the idea of ironing (might do some yet though….) Instead I phoned the branch of Pavers where I normally shop and explained the missing shoes situation - when I mentioned the courier firm involved, I could almost hear her rolling her eyes  she said you don’t need to tell me anything more about them! They have the shoes in stock and she has put a pair aside for me. Then she gave me a customer service to ring in England and a helpful young lady looked it up and said she would be issuing a refund immediately so hopefully that will sort it all. I’ve been up to the attic and taken down some summer clothes, more in hope than expectation. Avoided an argument with Edward who has some kind of clothes blindness and says he hasn’t enough room and can never see his clothes   I show him the shelves, point everything out but he just never seems to take it in, he seems to have a mental block about it. Just have to sort my own now.

Michael just sent me the betting odds for the Eurovision, Sweden is 4/9 which is quite mad. He doesn’t want them to win because then they will have won as many times as Ireland!

Won't be watching Eurovision it must be so old
Haven't seen it for at least 50years old like me
I missed the new series last Sunday about £10 pomps so I will watch that on my kindle
Traffic will be bad no with train on strike jo
By for now

I’m looking forward to that series.

Traffic was fine, apart from being down to two lanes by Stoke due to an accident, two lorries and three cars which hadn’t long happened seeing as four police cars rushed past just as we approached. The vehicles and debris were on lanes were and by luck no one appeared hurt, everyone was standing behind the crash barrier at the side. There was an Aston Martin in a very sorry state although all were badly damaged
It only took us 80 minutes to get home!

John left for Wales this morning, and me and Joe got home to find Tom cooking prawn and chorizo linguine for the three of us so we sat on the patio and ate that before they left for Wales.
