It's not your normal sit down and chat stuff - we have so many nationalities and all ages, which is brilliant. And we make them mingle, if we can,

My mate Debby came up with uniforms for the bombeiros and they are really so appreciative of what we can do to help them all.

The sad news is that when she got home, she got her husband -eventually - into hospital, but he now has heart failure. And as Debby said, for an ex-paramedic, he really should know better.

On a lighter note, Steve had his op and he should be home tomorrow. He actually rang me, as Jacquie had left her phone at home

Darren, another friend has a biopsy on his thyroid later this month

we're all doom and gloom here.

Mixed news there then, Jan. Sending my best wishes ((((x))))

In my little SW friendship group we have one lady whose OH is awaiting surgery for prostate cancer, and another lady who has successfully battled BC twice, but is being scanned next week for unexplained headaches/dizzy spells - possible metastases :? :( xx
