Well, what a palaver and poor Molly.

Picked her up,went through what they thought was wrong - nothing showed up on any of the bloods or x-rays.

Got her home, gave her some chicken (her favourite, raw chicken) then noticed that she had a bandage on one leg. Looked properly and they'd only left the needle in  :o

Rang the vet and then had to take her back - howling - for him to take it out.

She's now got a very pretty bright pink bandage on her leg, which I have to take off at 1.45pm.

All of this should have been done in Beja.

Won't be using them again

Get a dog... a sturdy one, a Jack or a terrier. :(

We had no choice with Molly WM, you know she adopted us.

She took the pink bandage off herself

Thank you all xx She's fine now, had a walk around the house, howling, then outside, doing the same, which started next doors dogs off, so at least she knew she was at home

She's had half a sachet of felix, some treats and is now happily asleep on the bank, behind some lavender.

I've mentioned it to Jan, who has used them many times and she is also appalled. Not doubt, she'll be having a word. Not shy of coming forward, our Jan

Bad vet! Glad she seems better now after her 'adventure'

Charlie is still on the 'watch list' - as he'll be fine for a few days and then I'll come home to a carpet peppered with vomit :? He's not really off his food at all, but I switch to tuna and chicken for a few days and then he's good to continue with his regular PAH pouches. No idea what starts it as he doesn't go outside.....it's the reason I have stayed home this weekend as I should have been at the caravan....as Tom completely understands my concern, he has taken Lily dog with him for a couple of nights but he's coming back tomorrow 8-)

Joe and Amanda have cancelled their July Paris holiday which they booked last year. They’ve been able to cancel the hotel with no charge but have lost their flight money because they were the ones who cancelled it. It’s not too much though, £150 total. They’d have had to pay more than that for tests before flying though.

They were quite clever though and booked a back up in case Paris didn’t happen, a gorgeous Air B&B apartment in Edinburgh. It’s right by the castle with a view of it from the windows.
