Yesterday evening I said to Edward that my sense of smell didn’t seem great, but wouldn’t be anyway if I just had a sinus infection. This morning we were sitting in the sun reading and he remarked that the pub next door was making curry. “How do you know” says I. He looks at me in disbelief and says “can you not smell that  “……..looks like I have another Covid symptom

My senses of taste and smell went so suddenly Osc! Tom had cooked us a lovely Sunday dinner and pudding which tasted and smelt beautiful, straight afterwards I went to make me and John a cup of tea, I have Earl Grey and it tasted of absolutely nothing. I might as well have just had a cup of hot water
It took three or four days for them to start coming back.

I lost mine for about a month when I had covid last year.....it's amazing what we take for granted, coffee was just - meh

I realised when I couldn't smell the usually strong plug in I'd just changed :(

Becky messaged to say she'll be late home as she's helping with a C-section :) She really loves the theatre work, and has been monitoring anaesthetic and all sorts. I'm so pleased she loves this new job :D 8-)

Next door is, at last, putting a higher fence between us. He did part of it, two years ago and is now digging holes for the new posts - with a jack hammer    :?
