Very true, Kaz, but I'm not in the obese category per the BMI test, just overweight, and the annual diet is both a discipline and an entertainment! :D
Wegovy has side-effects according to the blurb - 1 in 10 nausea, vomiting and diahorrea - and on balance I don't want to take any drug which has the potential to push me below what I believe to be my "comfortable lowest weight".
And I certainly wouldn't take anything which has been recommended by Elon Musk .....

Now, where has Mrs O hidden the remaining Aldi rum-flavoured mince tarts?

Mahoosive thunderstorm been rattling around for a couple of hours.

We got candles lit and I've risked turning on the laptop for a little while, as it's moved away - again.

Lots of rain, not worried, we're on a hill

Spectacular lightening though :Hi:

It is absolutely perishing here this evening, Jan - I'd rather have your thunderstorm!

It was exceedingly cold last night Ossie, Mick and I were parked in the Quays multi-storey, and walked back there at 10pm from our concert at the Cathedral, and were very glad of our warm winter coats! :cute:

The hilarity of trying - and succeeding :Hi: - of putting washing out when it's blowing a hooley

Grumpy was apparently watching and I had a round of applause

I never put washing out, it goes on the clothes horse in the back room to air dry.

And ironing: Why? Socks, underpants, vests, T shirts, bedding, towels... they are all just as un-ironed once they are used. Save electricity, save the planet - iron nothing.
