If you could see Portuguese tv Kaz, you wouldn-t ask

All four main channels have news from 8.00 until 10.00

But we have video-s, netflix all sorts of stuff, so Grumpy is happily playing with the remote

Blimey, it appears that we still do have a postman. Not seen one on the close all week.

Two grumbles.....
I would like some new PJ's - don't need anything special but all my old ones are definitely past their prime and I thought I'd treat myself. But the sizing is horrendous, it's either S, M, L or XL etc, and medium is usually too small and large is just passably OK but usually too baggy, but as it's PJ's baggy is sort of OK. But what really frustrates me is when the sizes are 8/10 - 12/14 -16/18 - 20/22 I need a 14/16 so none of those fit either. Why can't they just make them single size?

And 2nd grumble is Multifunction Christmas Lights - why do none of them have gentle twinkle as an option? The twinkle is always combined with flashing, and I cannot bear that strobe light effect of the flashing lights so I end up always having mine on boring steady on.

There we go, moan over

Ria, I grumble at both of those too

Also, I’d just like static lights but they’re so hard to find. I’d settle for gentle twinkling ones but none seem to do that. On the tree upstairs I have multifunction ones which thankfully seem to have remembered that they’re set to static mode. Downstairs I have ones which I have to set to static mode each time I use them but there’s a remote and just a number to press.
Both sets are the very fine copper wire ones from Amazon, around £10 for 200. I also have a set on the tree by the front door, they’re battery ones as there isn’t a plug socket near the door inside and again I have to use a remote but this is the third Christmas that I’ve used them.
