Wm it's a sad geographical thing but if it cost everyone £85 return, plus a hotel room and took 3 hours each way it wouldn't happen

Sadly, for two days of my pay, the travel costs and a hotel, Mrs S and I could afford to go to Spain for a week, or Rome as it cost Mrs S and #1 daughter about that.

Granted I'd then loose a week's pay, but we'd both be on holiday.
