Doesn"t it just?? :D

We haven't decided yet whether to go away in April/May as we often do, or to wait until September/October like we did last year

Good afternoon all.

It's dull and drizzly here, so I've stopped in this morning, 'playing' with my computer.
I've recently treated myself by downloading WORD, and am trying hard to master it,
but it's so darned complicated - but I'm getting there.

Hope you are all O.K.

Obviously depending on where you're going, but I find the advantage with the later time in the year is that the pool water and seas are warmer and nicer for swimming. April May is still too cold; for me at least

Plus if the summer is not good, you know that at least you will get some sunshine at the end of it. Well done Di, knew you wouldn't hang around ;)

Do it on the cheap and have both ;) :D
I've been so successfully frugal with my non-shopping policy that I've paid for the flights and 50% deposit from my current a/c :D
Still have to pay for the dog of course, but not till we get back :)

Good afternoon.
Still dull here but no rain.
Took mrs.e to the dentist this morning. She is going to have new dentures as the existing ones are loose. Have to wait till March as the
person who makes the new ones is so busy. And this is in a dental practice which only treats private patients, no NHS.
Then we went to have our photos taken as we will have to have our passports renewed. They expire in November but we will want them done soon as we are going on a cruise in May.
After lunch, went to look for a new cooker. The one we have is over 20 years old and the top oven is not working correctly. Ordered one from a local shop. Only had to pay a small deposit. Will be delivered when we want it and the old one will be taken away. Small charge for fitting. Went to this shop as they came to repair our washing machine and gave very good service and not expensive.
Then some shopping and took some rubbish to the local refuse depot.
Now relaxing
