I stuck to plan A - swim (which was marvellous) and have chilled out all day.

The bliss of having something delivered

Not a hope over here - too far away. And a Chinese??????

But the lamb chops, black pork thingy, cold potatoes was gert lush

Last time we had a Chinese delivered was a month or so ago and we'd got together with my sister and Rog at Mom and Dad's house. I was adamant that it was quicker to phone the order in and then collect it. Usually it's around a half hour wait.John was adamant that one of those food ordering apps would be quicker so we went with that.

90 minutes from ordering to delivery, and then the delivery man only brought half the order to the door. John answered the door, took the food off him, brought a bag through and me and Julie started de-lidding it all at the table. I shouted through to the kitchen for another bag. "What other bag?" John said, "There's only one."

Phone call to the takeaway and then another 10 minute wait for the remainder of the food
