A handsome groom and a beautiful bride, a perfect setting and good will abounding.
To me 'Guide me O thou Great Redeemer' was a highlight.

I watched a bit of the service just before heading out to the football (no, not the Cup Final, I couldn't afford the booking fees let alone a seat ticket for that). :D

I agree about 'Guide me O thou Great Redeemer', Crommers, it's a hymn that always chokes me a bit - "Cwm Rhondda" is such a beautiful musical setting, and when you've experienced it live belted out by a 50,000-strong male voice choir at Cardiff Arms Park ......

Slightly disappointed with the gospel choir - "Stand By Me" is such a powerful piece, and the soloist started it brilliantly, but I didn't think they really did it justice after that.

Very impressed with the simplicity of the bride's wedding dress after all the speculation and hype. I thought Andrew looked horrified during the Bishop's address. And I do think they should have invited Fergie, to be honest ……

But like WM, I also think the media coverage was wildly overblown. There again, it was probably the last Royal Wedding of our era, so perhaps some hyperbole was justified.

Like me missing the names Ossie, she was there. We obviously occasionally blinked and missed something

Oh was Fergie there, MM? I thought from media reports before the event she'd been snubbed …..

There you go Ossie, apparently she was snubbed from the evening reception. As I hate an evening reception, I think she should be grateful

I've never seen the point of an evening reception invite.

It's all or nothing.

I hate them, by the time you arrive everyone is already three sheets to the wind, they have formed little friendship groups, there's nowhere to sit and the food is rubbish. On the plus side, a wedding disco is always good

I managed to avoid it but have just looked online at the outfits. I'm not a huge Royal Family fan, my favourites are Camilla and Fergie (they'd both be good for a laugh).

Looking at the pics I felt a little sad that Meghan's mom seemed to be alone; I hope that somewhere in the church were some of her family members and friends. However, it looked as though Prince Charles was mindful of the fact that she was on her own and also that this was a million miles away from her normal life and was engaging with her. She looks a really lovely lady, and I loved the fact that she was wearing a nose ring :D

Prince Andrew has that horribly annoying habit of looking over his glasses, or at least he was on the pics I saw. Don't like him at all.

Kate looked really lovely, wish I'd looked like that a few weeks after giving birth. Actually I'd have settled for looking like that a few years after giving birth  Their children are absolutely adorable, the little girl looks quite a character!

Victoria Beckham. What has that woman got to be miserable about?

I can't make my mind up about Meghan, if we're seeing the real Meghan or if the actress is coming into play.

I agree about Camilla Jo. Fag in one hand, G and T in the other, she'd be a good laugh.
As opposed to VB; she looked like she was off to a funeral!
