Osc lovely to see you, hopefully you're on the mend, even if only a little!! Much love xxx
Gorgeous sunny but chilly day here. I had a massive wobble this morning, no special reason, just the whole situation I think, and knowing plans to meet up with family, even just Jen, have to be cancelled/postponed till 'a later date'....it's really hitting home now. Apart from Amy who doesn't seem to think it's a serious issue. Well I'm kind of relieved to say they won't be able to go out for their Mothers Day afternoon tea now since the Govt have closed all cafes etc from tonight, now maybe she'll open her eyes.
To cheer myself up, I went out into town, parked the car up and went for a walk round the riverbanks, practised social distancing
When I got home I rang my sister to see how she is coping, she sounds incredibly upbeat and accepting of things, but obv sad that she has to remain indoors on her own. I didn't offer to visit her in person just in case - well, she is 'elderly' although you'd never know from her 'vibe'
While we were chatting, the door went and a young man was there with a box for me....on opening it, the box contained a lovely bouquet of flowers from Jen with a card inside for Mothers Day, since we won't be seeing each other this year
