We'd be stuck if we weren't allowed to do shopping. Being so isolated, supermarkets don't deliver, even taxi drivers won't come up to us. We could, at a push, ask Jose Felipe to do shopping for us.

I'm doing Mitchell's shopping again tomorrow, he's given me rather a long list   so I'll be trundling a trolley around with our stuff and pulling a basket with his

Some people don't have anyone to do it or have the use of the internet it is very scary for older people at this time

Doreen had "the" letter and it states she MUST stay in the house (and garden) for 12 weeks :(

D is like my sister.....my nephew calls to see her but stands at her main door while she stand at the living room door, there is at least 20 feet between them!

I received A Letter yesterday from my GP practice, stating I should strongly consider shielding. I was shocked as I didn't think I had any major underlying issue. I rang the surgery and queried it (as it said to do) but the girl said she'd email the GP and contact me later. She did this, about an hour or so later, to say - no problem, carry on as before, it had flagged up my treatment for blood pressure and assumed I was targeted for shielding. But I'm not - PHEW!! I'm still taking extra care though, as are we all :D

I have been asymptomatic for years, but officially yes. Slightly more concerning is that as psoriasis is an immune system disease that might be compromising, but as yet they don't seen to know for sure! Thank goodness I didn't go for the drug therapy the consultant suggested for it, as then I would definitely be on 12 week isolation, as it worked by lowering the immune system response :?

Finally got an update on the Psoriasis.org website - unless you're on the suppressants your risk isn't raised 8-) :)

Great news! :D

I did consider how two people (or three in your case) would manage to shield in one house! Nightmare!! xx
