I rest my case. Nike store in London today. People who left a two meter gap were upset when others just jumped the queue by pushing in.
This is not down to unclear advice from the government, this is down to rubbish behaviour.

It's all just madness.... what is so essential about most of the stuff. On the one hand I'm pleased for the staff that work there that the shops are open and by default therefore their jobs are just that one bit safer, but at what potential health cost to them? The shoppers don't seem to give a stuff about the health and well being of the store staff; if they did they'd adhere to the distance rules and wear masks, hand sanitise etc.

I really just wish the government would have the balls and make masks compulsory for every location that is indoors / confined space.
