The most expensive part of the delivery chain, per item, is the human driving the thing to your door.

These are an attempt to remove the human from that chain. This is why they are spending so much money on it.

That are fitted with all sorts of sensors Vic.

If you stop for one, it won't cross, the road has to be clear.

When they are at the pelican crossings, they ask if you can push the button for them, then they say thank you

Very nice toys in an outer suburb "genteel" area like mine, but in the Gipton? The lads and lasses would have them in the back of a Tranny and stripped down for parts in no time.

Good for a laugh, but useless at the practical level.

At least they're good for a laugh lets be grateful for small mercies

although if they are that useless I wonder why they've caught on as they have? They are always trotting about in Northampton and surrounding areas 8-)

Laugh a minute.

So, they have a remote 'driver', kind of ruins Suff's argument of the man in the van being the most expensive part; and it takes tens, or more, of them to do the same job - v e r y s l o w l y.

"Hello, is that Milano Pizza?"
"Yes."
"I would like to order a pepperoni please."
"Fine, it will be with you in three hours... you just have to reheat it."
