Excellent!!! :D :D :D :D Was about to post belated vibes for the interview but I see there is no need - sorry I havent had chance to get on until now

Usual boring day at work, nothing much to report.

Di that's fab for your yoga lady - my sister has been widowed almost a year now but they never had pets, at least not after the lads grew up.....I don't think she'd appreciate a pet now, but I often think she would have something at home waiting when she got in, if she had one xx

Gal, I think that John's Mom needs a dog. She had one up until about six years ago and loved him to bits, he was great company for her and having to walk him meant that she was getting out of the house and she was meeting people who walked their dogs at the same time every day.
It'd be company for her now plus she moans about not meeting people down there so with a dog she'd have the perfect opportunity to get out and get talking to people.

Ah yes I can see it would work well for John's mom - my sister has a wide range of societies and clubs that she goes to where her friends all are, they have nights out (meals) and quizzes etc, as well as shopping trips and coffee mornings - she's never home! So if your MIL doesn't have this social abundance, then I can see how a dog might help her xx
