We took my Dad on Saturday and I’ve come away feeling quite anxious about having mine done.

Our local clinic is in a hotel. We queued for around 15 minutes to get onto the service road off the A5 and once we got to the car park entrance a marshal came over to the car with a form for my Dad to fill out, obviously John had to wind the window down to take the form and the fella leaned right down by it and started explaining what had to be filled in, leaving no distance, and his mask was pulled down so that it was just covering his mouth.
Dad went in on his own so I can’t comment on what it was like inside but it’s only a small place and there didn’t really seem like a restriction of numbers going in and there was very little social distancing going on by the entrance or exit.

I’ve messaged the woman who keeps posting on Facebook and saying that she’s in charge of the running of this clinic to tell her of my concerns but she’s not replied. Not sure who else to contact really :?

No I think it's a problem we are the same here all the vaccine stuffs being done at our drs at our drs surgery there are 3surgery,a and the one they are using you have to queue outside 1/2?hour or so fine on a good day but like today no go
But we have a few empty big hotels even the council's spa complex where they have huge dance area is empty so why can't it be done there ,no idea that's planning for you
I hope it is a ok for you tho xx

I can see why you might be worried Jo :? If that woman doesn't get back to you privately, maybe make your concerns public? :?:

I'm off for the vaccine

I’d be concerned at that too Jo. You can always pass your comments on via your GP or, better still, contact your local CQC.

Incidentally, none of our patients who have had the first vaccine have been given dates yet for their second vaccine. Mainly so we don’t have to contact them all again to cancel if the government change their mind!!

And at the moment all of our patients are waiting 12 weeks between vaccines WM.
