Ally, I'm sure it looks lovely!!! :D

I'm really pleased with the way Emma cut mine - it's chunkier, which has made it look thicker, and a fair bit shorter!!

Ah well, mine is so straight and fine that it needs the volume and texture cutting in to it!

I still have loads too, but as it's so fine it just 'sits' there and has no volume or movement of its own. It won't take a curl (even perms used to drop out or even not take properly in the first place) and any volume just falls straight out. On the upside though it is, as Emma remarked, very soft, but I'd kill for a bit of natural root lift, like my sister's     :x

I am liking mine shorter 8-)

I'm in a quandary. 4 years (golly is it really that long!!). I decided I was going to stop cutting my hair (ha ha as if it was getting cut), grow all the dye out and then grow it long enough to cut and give to the cancer society to make wigs with. I have such very thick hair I figure it will make at least 2 wigs. Lol.

It was a fine "decision" while I really didn't care about my appearance, but now that I've got my life back and starting to care I think I want a nice cut and colour. I think I have about a year of growing left to reach the required length.

I made this decision when my Aunty was getting a wig while she had ovarian cancer. She has since died, and my uncle is remarrying this coming March. Part of me thinks if he's moved on, so to should I, but this was never going to help my Aunty..... I really don't know, at least indecision means my hair still grows.
Everything happens for a reason

I know that as a bloke with hair like an old paintbrush I should not really be here, but.......

I was watching one of those sciencey programmes and the subject of sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS) came up. It is in all sorts of washing products and is a menace. It creates lather, but at the same time it is a stripper of oils, layers of dead skin and hair thickness. With my eczema this stuff can cause flare ups even when it was only in shampoos.

Kaz, maybe a search for an SLS free shampoo might help with the thin hair problem.
