Di, I'd love one but I have no restraint when it comes to freshly baked bread. No restraint whatsoever.
John fancied a crusty loaf for toast for his supper, he's the only one who really eats bread here now. He had to have cereal ;)

Such a shame

Julia sent some flowers to arrive yesterday - she's just rung, as I obviously hadn't had them - they have no idea where they are :cute: :cute:

Possibly Lisbon :o as there is a Campo de Ourique suburb in Lisbon

Erm, what about Encalho??? there is only one Encalho in Portugal..............

Oh I am glad you told us Kaz :cute:

*Sigh* I swear to god I am not going to tell Mr Osc's body when we are going away. Routine dental check up today, troublesome tooth, abscess starting up (with no pain :? ) so all of a sudden he is having an emergency root canal treatment tomorrow  As the place where he is going is not that accessible from here by public transport, I will have to drive him, and had to postpone my hair appointment - thankfully my hairdresser can fit me in on Friday. The cost of the treatment is eyewatering, but on the plus side, we are lucky that (a) it didn't happen closer to our holiday and (b) that the abscess didn't flare up while we are away.

The flowers, apparently, left Ourique yesterday morning at 8.40am - and they returned to Ourique at 13.21 as they couldn't find our address.

Which basically means, they couldn't be erm, bothered. I'm now going to complain, as Julia has too. And she spent a blasted fortune on these flowers, as she really wanted to be here instead, but job, children etc got in the way.
