It is daft :?

You know, when Mick and I first married Barclays wouldn't give us a joint account as I didn't have photo ID :o We got round it in the end, but what a palaver! The fact I had an active current account with one of their competitors apparently didn't count

Crazy! Tom did stay with Nationwide for his new account and customer services told me that he still needed to take in ID when opening it in the branch, although it could be in the form of a recent official-type letter plus his birth certificate, despite him already having an account with them. He took in what they required and he said that all they did was ask his name and address and verified his ID from his existing passbook that he'd taken with him and not from the paperwork they'd asked him for

I've had the fan on in the living room today, it's cooled it down nicely for Billy.
Unfortunately John keeps turning it off, because he says that it's too noisy (it's not) so I've no chance of using it to keep us cool through the night.

Seal has an amazing voice doesn't he! :D

We have officially run out of windows to open, the fan is working over time, Billy is having ice cubes in his water bowl....and John just sent me a text containing a photo of a cuppa on his desk because it's a bit chilly in his air-conditioned office

And now we've got the bouncing of the pavements, running down the road kind of rain.
