A beautiful day and a gentleman has died on the beach today a heart attack I think so sad
Full emergency crews plus air ambulance but it was no use
Had to be taken of the beach by lifeboat to the harbour I expect

Forgot to put about last night in the daily thread. The boys had me cooking sausages at gone 11pm. We sat outside for 10 minutes when the sun moved off the garden at around 8pm. We got beers and were still there at 10.30, which was when the kids decided that all that had been missing from the night had been something nice to eat so off they went to the Co Op down on the main road. It had closed at 10 and they just made it into McColls before that closed at 11. They came back with a pack of sausages Luckily there were four bread rolls in the freezer.

Rain never arrived jo

We had a right old downpour Saundra, and typically Joe was walking back from the park in it - he was soaked to the skin. We're back to sunny and hot again now.

Jo our house was a regular Friday/Saturday night post-pub stop off, for usually half a dozen of us.
We'd have coffee, and Mum would cook chips, she was everyone's hero

Di, you and your Mom (who was an absolute star!) were obviously more sensible than my cousin! My aunt was woken several times by my cousin shouting because he'd come in from the pub, decide to cook chips and then fall asleep, only to wake up to a chip fan fire!

Finally Google Earth has updated and our close no longer shows as a building site

It replaced my red Rover 216 with Amy's mum's white Nissan Juke. I was devastated.

It is still there even though her latest version is in black.
