Ton, my friend's been having her kitchen done for 5 weeks now and it's nowhere near finished. The fitters keep failing to turn up and what they have done is a right mess. She staged a sit in at the kitchen showroom last Friday, was promised that it would all be done this week but she's not any further forward. They're now wishing they'd Googled some reviews beforehand as there's even a Facebook page set up for people who've had the same problems with this company, plus they've been on Watchdog.

We had an Ikea kitchen when we had our extension Saundra. Me and John fitted it all, but it really was a good kitchen. We'd had one from B&Q and one from Wickes in that house before that and the Ikea one was miles better than those. Going back 10 years now but it was a large kitchen and it cost less than £600 for the actual units and included in that was a large double ceramic Belfast style sink.

One of the problems my friend's had is that the worktop was cut wrong, so another piece was ordered. The fitters made an error cutting the second one too. The replacement's replacement came and it was the wrong worktop that time!

Hope the horrible little things are gone soon Saundra!
