I always wear a hat when we go abroad, apart from anything else the sun bleaches my hair out too much if I don't ;) Mick wears one too - not for his blonde locks ( :P ) but to protect his 'sun-roof' from getting burnt :D

John has a cap that he bought some years ago which comes out when the sun shines, it says Grumpy on the front (he got it from Disneyland, hence the Seven Dwarves connection).

Never in the history of hats as one been more appropriate.

Tom just called, he was working 3pm-10.45pm today. Someone's not turned in so he's been asked to work what they call the close, which is cleaning after they close at Midnight and getting everything prepped for when they reopen for breakfasts at 5am. He says he'll be home at around 3am.

He's a real grafter Saundra, he wouldn't have minded - plus he needs the money! He's had to book 3 days off this coming week for that flippin' wedding in Wales on Thursday so is losing money, plus he needs to buy a suit for the aforementioned flippin' wedding.
Then two weeks today he flies off to New York, so it all helps!

I know you didn't Saundra ;)
No, he was asked if he could work the extra hours, he's been asked before to work extra shifts and if he can't then he just says so and it's accepted. They asked if he wanted to swap his hours he was due to work today and do them tomorrow instead seeing as he'd worked almost a double shift so he's done that.
