Here too, it rained until early afternoon and has just started again. We're just back from walking Billy on the Chase and it's not windy now though, definitely the calm before the storm. The Forestry Commission have said that the visitor centre and the nearby trails will be closed tomorrow because of the danger of falling trees.

We are so lucky. The eye of Doris is set to pass right over us, so a pleasant day, light winds, and only a little bit of rain.

Mick just got back from walking the dogs, someone in a nearby road is having renovations done, and a tin of paint must have been left outside as there is white paint all over the road, and all over some parked cars :shock: :x :(

Oooerrrr - just checked in online using the Ryanair app on the phone, and have our boarding passes on the phone rather than printed out - not done that before!
