Just as I decide to run across to the post office I see a big grey cloud

And then remember that I will be taking my life into my hands by going to said post office. The crossing lights have been switched off because of yet more temporary traffic lights but because people don't want to stop at red there's hardly enough time to cross between one line of traffic stopping and the other starting to come through

*Nosey neighbour update*
More storage boxes loaded into Mini, those small nicely coloured cardboard ones with lids and metal corners which Ikea sell, and lots of the youngest boy's toys. Bits of furniture loaded into the van, one of the women came out wheeling some suitcases behind her. Other woman nowhere to be seen.

Di, it's that house I posted a link to months ago, the one that was up for sale, then wasn't, and then another estate agent sign appeared...the one woman told another neighbour that they wanted to move because the youngest wasn't settling at his school....but it's been off the market again for a couple of months now so it looked like they'd had a change of mind.
Yes, I agree, it does look like a split which is a shame if so as they're lovely people - the one who has been doing the moving this morning is very chatty and friendly.
