We were driving past the Black Country Museum one night last week, it was dark and obviously closed by that time and Joe wondered what it's like in there at night. Saw on Facebook last night that they're holding a special light and sound night in November, and the tickets are free so I've booked for us to go. It'll be nice to see the shops, streets and houses all lit up.

Having saved all that dosh on the insurances, we're spending some of it on an exercise bike/cross trainer and also some T bars, for a washing line.

By heck, the hunters are close this morning

I can actually smell the gun powder

All the dogs locally are going bananas, as the hunters have at least 4 dogs

Eurgh! Staffs Police have just put an alert out that a 'pet' python has escaped  Not around here thankfully, it's in the Stoke area from what I can see. Just hope that it doesn't slither very far.

Finally got around to ordering a new grill element for in the oven. Been meaning to look for one for about a month now.

Yikes Jo! Not that snakes bother me anywhere near as much as spiders! Talking of which they had this down at the quays last week, during half term

A bit too much for me, I'm glad it had gone by the weekend, as if I'd come out of a shop to be unexpectedly faced with that, I would have jumped out of my skin

Joe would've freaked out at that, I have to remove all spiders for him. It's not fair is it to have things like that around when people have real fears.

No, it isn't. Plus, for an already nervous small child, being chased by that (it chases people :o ) could actually be an ISE (initial sensitising event) and could set up a phobia for later on :?
