I have, however, successfully negotiated a day shopping in Manchester.

We ordered a dog toy from amazon last night (not much choice last time I looked), at about 6.30 - the order confirmation is timed at 19.02.
It arrived at 8 this morning

We had an amazingly quick Amazon delivery yesterday too.

Joe asked for some David Beckham aftershave, it's the only thing he's actually asked for, so when Tom asked what he could get him I told him that.

So....he bought him a bottle of very hot sauce when he did his Christmas shopping the other day and didn't tell me until Thursday night

Order delivered 11.03am Friday

Joe wanted to buy his present for Tom last night so we found ourselves in the vinyl section in HMV, texting back and forwards with Shannon, picking her brains to see if she knew which albums he already has.

He was adamant that he wanted to get him something special and knows he loves his vinyl so decided on Definitely Maybe by Oasis.

I've been perusing the Pandora charm catalogue and have decided what my second charm is going to be.

It's a charm with a lipstick, shoe and a dress.

3 of my favourite things.

Said catalogue is now on the coffee table open at page 63.
