Goodness me, just reading about a Green Day friend, Val, who lives in the US. Her son was very badly injured in a car accident on (I think) the 23rd. He's got a fractured vertebrae, fractured skull and brain injuries but is expected in time to make a full recovery...however, he doesn't have health insurance  Well, he does but it's a new policy which doesn't start until January so for now he has no insurance.

I dread to think what the hospital bill will be like, especially as he's been in intensive care :(

I was never a huge fan of the traditional Disney cartoon movies but I really love the Disney Pixar films. I watched Finding Dory on the flight to LA last year, looked over to see what Joe was watching and he had it on too :)

Disney films weren't the 'thing' they are now when my lads were little.

They certainly are now....I need granddaughters! 8-) 8-) 8-)

I think we discovered them with Toy Story 2, that was the first film we took Tom to see at the pictures.

I was more of a Hanna Barbera and WB cartoons fan as a child. Give me Wile E Coyote over Bambi any day 8-)

We've never been a family for watching films at home.

I took the lads to watch all the Star Wars films when they had that revival thing...which I loved...never having watched the original in 1977.

I've never seen any of the Star Wars movies.

John and Joe love watching movies but I hate sitting still for that long, there's always something else I think I should be doing. That's probably why I mainly watch US sitcoms - 22 minutes and they're over and I can get on with doing something ;)
