Tom's in Ashbourne with Shannon today for the big Shrove Tuesday football game.
This is the conversation me and Joe had just.

Me: Tom's gone to the big football game in Ashbourne.
Joe: Tom can't play football.
Me: Well it's not really football...it's more of a fight over a football involving the whole town.
Pause
Both: Tom can't fight...

Banging my head up a brick wall AGAIN!

Joe applied for a Nationwide account at the end of last month. He had a welcome letter which stated that his card and PIN would follow. Neither have arrived.
I've just spent over 30 minutes on the phone to Nationwide trying to find out why they haven't.
The best that they can work out is that they've gone to our old address.
We've lived here now for over 7 years and in that time all Nationwide correspondence for his old account (a children's one which he couldn't have a card with) has come to this address, because I went into the branch and changed it when we moved, and of course the flippin' welcome letter for this new account came here anyway so why revert to the old address when sending the card and PIN

That's a pain. I hope the card hasn't been nicked Jo and has gone to the old address.
