Well today was quite interesting. It consisted of taking my Father in Law to Dewsbury hospital for an operation on his piles.

In order we had:-
Him disappearing (he was found later) shortly followed by
His long johns disappearing (they also were found later) and then
Having to come home wearing only one sock as the other had got mysteriously wet through.

Inbetween all this the op went fine.

I'm now off to buy a case of beer.

In the end I didn't get any beer, I finished off a bit of brandy that we had left from Christmas. We're not saints Jan (at least, I'm not). My wife maybe because she has to put up with me as well. One of her cousins is a lady in her 70's with arthritis in her hands and at one time she was looking after toddling grandchildren at one end of the scale and her husbands 90 odd year old mother at the other. There's a lot of looking after aged rellies going on, I think.

I'm a bit worried about FiL - he gave me some petrol money yesterday! He can't be well.
