She's fine, thanks Saundra. She has Antonio to look after her - although what good he'll be, I have no idea ;)

We've bought a new car! Well a 3 years old one anyway  A Vauxhall Zafira, charcoal grey, huge boot ( which M was insistent on for some reason   ) and petrol. Our last two have been diesel but that's becoming frowned on, isn't it? Anyway we had a lovely test drive in it, and are picking it up on Wednesday! We traded in the poor old Audi - it's about 12 years old so it was about time :? ;)

Great news Kaz! You've certainly got your monies worth out of the Audi!

We're looking at buying or leasing a car next year rather than John having another company car when the time comes for his to be replaced. Again, he's taxed to the hilt on what's often seen as a perk and it'd work out cheaper to lease one ourselves. He's always gone for diesels because it was encouraged...and now it's not.

We've always gone for bigger cars to fit the kids in, and he's needed loads of bootspace for their camping trips and for holidays in Cornwall but there's not really a need now so he's thinking of going for something much smaller. He's quite liking the new style Clio, the last two cars he's had have been Renaults and haven't been a bit of bother.
