I'd be majorly p*ssed off Jo. You specifically asked him to not do it and still he did.... that's a blatent disregard of your request and total disrespect to you (imho)

Totally agree with you!

Ria, that is exactly what it is...a lack of respect.

There's a list of things, I could go on, but suffice to say that I've really struggled with having him back at home full time. I thought it'd get easier and would settle down but it hasn't, and he's been back for 7 months now...but then he's never really been easy to live with :(

Saundra, I scream and yell  but it's water off a duck's back.

Sons are never too old or too big to be slapped by mums - flat hand meets left cheek or vice-versa if you are left-handed.

I have the T shirt.

We had similar with middle son.

In the end, we chucked him out. Gave him a month to find somewhere else to live. It was either that, or Grumpy would have put him under the patio

Well that was gert lush :Hi: :Hi:

We haven't been to the Adega for about 2 years.

The menu has changed a bit, it's gone up a euro or so and I do dislike paying for a salad :cute: :cute: but the food, as always, was sublime 8-) 8-)

Don't get me started on the issue of him paying board!

Frank, it's so tempting!
I'd need to stand on a stool though

He'll be 22 next week, he's taking a year off in between university and then going on to do his teaching qualifications so is on a 16 hours contract at McDonalds but works double that.

I appreciate that after living away from home while at university, coming back full time is difficult for him too but whereas we've done things to adapt to having him back home, he won't budge an inch, he won't make a compromise on anything. Thinking back though, he was like this before going away.
