I put three large chillies in the curry for Saturday plus coconut milk, hot curry paste, ginger, garlic and spices and it's still mild

Might have to get a new pan - this one doesn't smell of curry yet, even though I've used it for 2 months.

Get down the China shop and buy one of their carbon steel woks with a chunky wooden handle. They need 'seasoning' with oil and salt, but once done they are the perfect for curries and stir fries. Never wash them, just wipe with a paper towel and a bit of oil after use. :cute:

That's a problem we have here Saundra, no scanner, no printer.

There is a form that Grumpy needs to sort out his private pension and I've asked them to send a copy by post

WM, my old curry pan just gave u+ the ghost and my friend Jan gave me a pan she wasn't happy with - used the wrong cleaner on it and it's stained

I'm off to the market in Castro soon, will have a look there for a decent curry pot. I keep my wok for stir-frys, don't want the smell crossing over.

Jan, the China shop might have double handled pressed steed pots similar to a balti pan. I prefer them to stainless steel as once they are seasoned and used a few times they become the most non-stick things in the Universe... and the flavours do not cross over.

I also got a wood handled flat slice and a stirring spoon, also in pressed steel, and never, ever, use them for anything else.

"Western" cooking things do not seem to cut it for some reason. :o

I do quite a few curries, as you already know. :D

Saundra, they once said that CD discs were dead and I jut laughed.

I now have a mobile and a tablet and neither has a CD/DVD drive. All my stuff is on USB pen drives and I can plug them in to both using an OTG cable.

It's a whole new world compared to the 'Good ol' days' of floppy discs. The only people I now know who have a 'proper' PC are Michael's friends who are into gaming, and they tend to build their own.

We pay for Netflix but half the time can't get to watch anything...we pay for the two screen option, meaning we can watch two different things on two different devices at the same time which should be enough but Tom's given the password to Shannon though so if Joe's watching something in his room and she's watching something at home in Ashbourne, there go the two screens. I'll be damned if I'm paying extra and upgrading so that it can be watched on more devices, I've been sneaky and changed the password a couple of times too and it keeps getting passed on.

errrrm... simply no. If Tom wants Shannon to have a Netflix password then he can pay for it. I think that's quite bang out of order really... two users fine but to be kept in the same house. Do both licences need the same password or can they be separate ones; in which case give the boys a password to share and you keep the other for yourselves

Dare I say; your son is going to have a few tough life lessons coming up Jo about the cost of the real world.
