New passports arrived this afternoon

Less than 2 weeks - very impressed

That's quicker than my application for a new passport as my old one(s) had expired - this for a person born in the UK and who served in the RAF.

I am retired but they still wanted to know the place, D.O.B and occupations of my parents, their marriage date and date of death - if applicable.

When was that Frank? My renewal (in 2016?) was really straightforward and I didn't even need to get my photo countersigned.

Honest to chuff it was soooo easy and amazingly quick for delivery of new passport.

Yep, just had to put the code in that came with the photos and there it was, already on the system and approved.

Although I didn't approve. I've got to show a passport until 2026 which has a picture of me with hair at the inbetween stage
