Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 12 Jun 2016, 05:33

Good morning. :D

Hotty hot. 8-) 8-)

I have 3 chaps in the house all fast asleep, a load of washing on and I'm sitting on the terrace with a coffee...bliss. :D :D

Yesterday can be summed up in one word. Perfect. :D :D :D

We're all going out for lunch later and taking Jacob to the airport at 7 o'clock.

I imagine we'll stay in tonight.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally and everyone

Sunshine and cloud here this morning and still blowing a hooley - at least that keeps us cool. I put jeans on last night

I'd like to cut back some of next doors overhanging bushes and trees, but I also need to sort out the utility room.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning Ally, Ton and all.

It's raining here, and seems it's going to rain most of the day. So we won't be going far.

Indoor pursuits, no doubt.

Hope you all enjoy yet another celebration of the Queen's birthday. :Hi:

Morning all :)

Ally, I'm so glad the weekend plans worked well! :D :Hi:

Ton, it's cool again here, and wet

Have a nice day indoors Aggers :)

Well we are off food shopping shortly, then Mick will take H home later - we've had a lovely weekend with him here. I even watched a footie match with him yesterday, the Wales game, which I actually rather enjoyed :o

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all :D

Nice and bright here, but E says it's a little muggy. Think rain is forecast for tomorrow, typical really as that will probably mean no building.

No plans, this afternoon we'll probably have a go at tidying the rear of the garden now we can actually get to it. We've got plenty of lovely colour, but it's a bit like a jungle at the moment.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Greetings all.... Well a lovely day yesterday visiting a friend. She and her partner moved into their new home 14 months ago and yesterday was the first opportunity I've had to go visit! And she's now 5 months pregnant and so incredibly happy and well - it was just a perfect afternoon.

Today, I'm psyching myself up to go to a friend for a BBQ. It's been long time planning - she's Portuguese and it's a belated Portugal Day celebration. I really could do with just being home and snoozing but given the weather I'm worried quite a few people will think it's OK not to go and that just wouldn't be polite nor fair as I know she's prepared loads of food etc. I'll probably just go for a short bit and then come home to pootle about.

Project Henry Houdini is ongoing - I thought I'd blocked every conceivable escape route but last night I got home and he was out again. Poor boy was quite happy to be back indoors but I'm really stumped how he is getting out. :?

Anyway, best get on with getting ready - no point delaying

Have a lovely day all xxxxx

Ria, congratulations to your friend, I wish her loads of luck with the pregnancy and baby :D Hope the weather isn't too horrid for the BBQ later :)

Hope you get your gardening done Jen :)

Well it's still showery here, although the sun is now trying. I've risked a few tea towels and hand towels out on the line, I can always tumble then later if needs be. Been food shopping, then Mick and H had a Big Breakfast each in the café. I had a salad sarnie so that means lunch is sorted and I don't have to cook until this evening, when Mick will be back and B home from work 8-) ;) The house is very quiet at the moment - feet up with a cuppa time :D

Afternoon :)
We had rain overnight but only a bit of drizzle since Bb and Minnie came back (they got nice and wet).

Finally we've been to the nursery/garden centre. Got a lovely new pot, a good tall one which is what we looked for last year. We save bits of polystyrene in the shed, usually to break up for smaller pots for drainage, but the big bits are perfect to fill the bottom half of this one :)
If the rain holds off we may even get some planted, the trays I bought weeks ago are looking lovely :D
Oh and picked up two pots of cosmos without labels, so was only charged 99p each for them, I think they were £2.99 :D
Hope you're all enjoying the day

Afternoon all, it was a dreary morning but has gradually improved and now the sun is shining. We had Kellie from about 8.30 until 11ish as SIL was running a 5 mile race and Miss Osc assisted by Michael was helping with the organisation. We've been for a stroll around the harbour, himself is watching....errrrr snoozing through footie, and I am just about to start organising dinner :)
