I am sad with the EU result but glad about this, so maybe Bucks Fizz rather than champers ;)

In what is to come it would be better Trump than Clinton. Clinton would paly the EU game and Trump wants very little to do with them but wants to be allied to us.

It's going to be a case of finding out who our friends are. Also a lot of countries who used the UK as an entry point into EU negotiations are going to find the EU a significantly more hostile place. We're about to find out who our friends are and there may be some surprises on the way.

The next two years are going to be less "Cat amongst the Pigeons" as "Tiger amongst the Dodo's".

I was only glad for a few minutes Di, then the reality sank in :( More instability and the prospect of Boris

As to Trump, well that really is a scary prospect for us all

I wasn't sure we'd do it, but E and I are so delighted with the referendum result. It's very sad for David Cameron, but he really didn't have a choice but to resign. I'm hoping Boris isn't given the leadership, I'd much prefer someone like Michael Gove whose behaviour throughout has been exemplary.

In a way, I can understand Cameron resigning; he probably feels he went to Europe for the original re-negotiation, and they gave him such a shi*tty response, he probably doesn't want to go back and try to negotiate with them again as they'll probably be even sh*ttier ....

To a certain extent, this is partially Merkel and Junker's fault for adopting the stance they did. They must have been told that anti-EU feeling in the UK was growing due to the freedom of movement rules, but to Merkel and Junker, et al, of course, it's the "EU Project Uber Alles". Well, if they really feel that is the way forward for Europe, best we do leave now for both their sakes and ours.

I must go and lie down soon. If I have any more coffee, I shall be dancing naked on the roof, waving an EU flag. But first, the breakfast haggis and plum tomatoes .... the long suffering Mrs O has just put it in the microwave.

In a way, this referendum result is also the British people giving the finger to Bob Geldof, Eddie Izzard, Mandleson, David Beckham, O'Leary, Alan Sugar, Polly Toynbee, Obama .....

And the effrontery of Fallon - blaming Corbyn for "not delivering the Labour vote for Remain". As I've said before, sorry, we are not forelock-tugging surfs. Fallon better wake up quick.
