I was just writing one of these when I thought I'd check.... :D :D

Glad you all had a good time at the meet. Sadly I think the only time I'll be able to join you is if I'm working jus down the road.

Mainly blue skies and the sun is trying to blind me as I type. Still I'll be going to work with a jacket and jumper on...

I failed to work on the bike last night mainly due to being back from work at 8pm. I don't have enough time to work on it by Thursday so I'm going to have to go to the P&R at North Queensferry and leave the car for 5 days tomorrow when I go home.

Just work today.

Have a great day all.

Morning Ally, Suff and everyone

Dull, grey and not that warm   at the moment - but as we're hitting 40C just about every day, I'm sure it'll burn off soon 8-) 8-)

Glad you all had a lovely time yesterday - Grumpy and I were talking - again - about the logistics of getting to Birmingham next year and it really is a pain in the posterior, so if I (we) can get to Windsor next year..................

Off to Castro Verde for the market later and also to look at chains for my newly found locket. I refuse to be held to ransom, as the lady in Ourique tried yesterday. I cannot and will not pay almost 800 euros for a simple gold necklace :cute: :cute: :cute: :cute:

Give your mum and dad a hug from me Ally xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here at the moment. Yesterday turned out lovely so fingers crossed we get more of the same today.

Glad you all had a nice meet yesterday.

Not sure what the builders are doing today, think it's a bit of plumbing and finishing off ready for the screed which is now due tomorrow. The coving's all done, amazing what a difference it makes.

I'm off out for coffee with the ladies this morning, think E's popping into town to get his hair cut. Not sure about this afternoon yet.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good morning all, it's a lovely bright one here :)
Took Billy for a walk/run in the woods earlier. We managed to run quite a way until he suddenly realised that it was great fun and exciting and he was going to leap around me...

Tom's working all day today. When at uni he's listed his availability to work as Fridays and Saturdays and changed it to anytime once he'd finished for Summer but then he found out that the McDonalds he works at is closing at the end of this week for a major refurbishment so he didn't expect to be working very much after this Saturday. He usually gets his schedule for the following week at the end of the previous week but he came home on Saturday with a list of days he's working up until mid August and I must say that McDonalds have been very fair. They're all on zero hours contracts so obviously they don't have to give them any hours (or pay) but he's been scheduled a lot of shifts in other local ones. He's got to go to one at Walsall and it's a bit out of town, by the football ground, so I was wondering how he'd get there. Had a brainwave yesterday that he could get the train (it came to me when my train stopped at Bescot station which is the station used to get to the stadium) so I mentioned it to him and he said it was okay, a few of them are working at the same time so he's getting a lift.

Bit of a waste of time last night at the college. Thy didn't really tell us anything that Joe hadn't already told us from his interview (but then Joe tells us everything but I suppose there are others who don't), just that he'll get a letter next month with enrolment and induction dates and that's when he'll need to order college polo shirts and overalls, and we're to get some safety boots for him before then, to wear at the induction. I remember my parents going to something similar before I started a hair and beauty course and they had to buy my kit for practical lessons (scissors, combs and brushes, rollers, perm curlers etc) and my Mom shaking her head at how much it all cost - it worked out to be quite a bargain though now when I think that she's had 30 years of free cuts and colours :P

Sitting here now, with my coffee, wishing that I could relive yesterday! It was wonderful!! :D

Have a good day all!

Lovely to see you too Ton, love the pics of the new house on Facebook - worth the wait I reckon? :D

He's starting an engineering course in September. He gave sixth form some thought but decided this was what he wanted to do.

It is, and it seems there's quite a shortage of engineers at present.
