We have had a veggie risotto with leeks, courgettes, mushroom, asparagus and sweet potatoes, very delicious it was too.

We were in town for Bb to collect his new glasses and me to have an eye test, which all took longer than expected so I treated him to lunch :)
Such a lovely day, we went to the pub down the lane from us and sat in their pretty garden.

Bb had their steak baguette which he knew would be huge, and comes with chips and salad :)
I don't really know why it costs much less than a steak and chips but it's good value. And he had a beer since I was driving :)
They do a particularly yummy lasagne, and offer smaller portions not just for children which is perfect for me, so I had that which came with a slice of garlic bread and salad :)
So I think dinner will be something snacky, but I might have more than him ;) :D

We had borrega - lamb - with potatoes, carrots, green beans, broccoli and lots of butter    with some olive oil.

The lamb was on a special at the supermarket, so had what we'd call cutlets.

We had pizza. Two sets of good news (one amazing) at parent teacher interviews so apart from the fact it was getting too late to cook, it was a celebration.

Tonight's dinner was tuna pasta bake with 1/4 of it gluten free.

Tom, Joe and myself had grilled chicken breast with Cajun spice, jacket potato and Cajun courgetti (bought myself a spiraliser a while ago and we love it!). John went on a bike ride and wasn't back until 9.30pm so he had a pizza.
