Good morning. :D

After 3 fantastic days in Scotland today we get the Megabus back to Birmingham. :D

Jackie is picking us up in Hill street and after showers we're off to Solihull to meet up with a group of chums for a few beers and dinner in Turtle Bay. :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally and everyone

making the most of the cool ish start - another hot day here.

Gentle gardening for us, as we can get a lot done without the builders being here. Making a couple of areas for plants - already done one :Hi: :Hi:

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning!

Have a safe journey Ally, and a good time in Solihull later :D

It's a wet one here today. We're going to build Joe's wardrobe today and hopefully we'll be able to finish his room, his bookcase needs moving too and that's fixed to the wall. Tonight John and myself are seeing Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott on the Chase.

Have a good day all :)

Morning all :)

Ally, safe trip and have a fab time with your friends :D

Ton, enjoy your gardening, don't overdo it in the heat xx

Jo, that sounds great tonight - enjoy :D

Raining here too, no sign yet of the Spanish Plume of hot weather we are promised  :cute:  I hate it when it rains on Saturdays as we like to sit outside the café at lunchtime and then in D's garden later. Still, it's early yet and might brighten up! :D    Enjoying having Harry here, and D will be pleased to see him :) Saw on Facebook that one of our nephews is home, from China where he teaches English. I expect he will be up to see his Grandma at some point so we might see him too :) The young people in this family seem to be all over the world this year! One is going to Yellowstone National Park to help collate info about Bison, another is teaching swimming in Qatar, B is in Canada, my sister's boy is in Australia and my niece only just got back from NZ and France  :D The world seems to be their lobster these days ;) :D  Meanwhile, it's raining in Gloucester :P

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Enjoy The Chase Jo, we love that programme.

Peter's back and doing more painting today. I've got the usual washing on the go, not sure what we'll be doing later, will wait and see how the day pans out.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Well, it has persisted down and is going to persist it down some more.

The forecast is for heavy rain over the lunchtime period, but with temps of 20º and humidity up near the 90% mark.

It is an F1 day. Final practice and then qualifying, at Silverstone.

Have a good day everyone, and a safe journey to Ally and Don.

Ton, I can't wait to see what your place looks like when it's all finished! :D

Jen, it's not the show. It's the AONB that we live on the edge of. The Forestry Commission hold a weekend of concerts there every Summer. This year we've got lucky and two out of the three artists feature heavily on my iPod

Hope it clears up for you to spend time outside Kaz. It's so disappointing when it rains on a weekend isn't it. We often take Billy for a long walk on the Chase and finish it off at the visitor centre cafe where they sell lovely homemade cake but we can't do either in the rain. Actually Bill gets disappointed if we walk by there at night when the cafe's closed. He runs over and sits by a table hoping that one of us will go in and buy cake

Saundra, have a lovely day. It's a shame it's too busy to go into town. We've had a Co Op open recently down on the main road - finally we have a decent shop in the village! It's only a 5 minute walk away and is so handy!

Frank, I wonder if the heavy rain we've got now is heading your way. It's supposed to calm down here a bit by afternoon before starting again this evening.

It'll be a while yet Jo 8-) I've just spent the last hour and a half weeding - again - the bank thingy between us and next door. Taking advantage of them having paying guests, so the dogs are locked away

Jo, I just saw the forecast on BBC News and it looks as though that is the case. Good news for Wimbledon, though, the final looks to be dry and sunny. C'mon Angela.
