A mini killer hill walk in preparation for tomorrow  then back for a swim. :D

More lounging and reading by the pool. It's been like an open air library there this week!

A long overdue catch up with our Friday night beer and tapas friends tonight and I'm really looking forward to seeing them all again. :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally and everyone

A very pleasant 23C here at the moment - much much hotter later.

Just turned the news on

Words are going to have to be said about next doors dogs - I can't understand how they can run a business, with paying guests, and have constant - and I mean constant - dog barking for most of the evening and night.

So we've been up since 6.30   :cute: :cute:

Pootling for us and lots of watering of plants and veggies 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all! Quite dull and humid here today.

Billy's had a long walk and I'm off to Birmingham in half an hour, just for a mooch. Apparently Tom's coming with me, so he said last night, but he's still in bed so we'll see. I've woken him and he did mention getting up soon but if he's not ready I'm going without him, it's too humid to run for the train if he holds us up

Such horrible news to wake up to this morning, my thoughts are very much with those affected in France. Such a worry too :(

Have a good day all xx

Morning all :D

That really has to be sorted Ton, it would drive me mad too!!

Yesterday wasn't too ghastly, the woodworm peeps were very considerate and got the job done with minimum fuss. It did smell a bit though, but seems to have gone this morning.

Bright and sunny here at the moment, hoping it stays that way as I'm off out with about 30 ladies for a trip to Whitstable. We're catching the train from Broadstairs at 11am and will be having lunch here on the seafront http://www.shepherdneame.co.uk/pubs/whitstable/royal Later in the afternoon Michele who's organised the day has arranged for us to have a little tour round the castle http://whitstablecastle.co.uk/the-castle Should be fun :D

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all
Such aweful news. I've only got the sketchy details but oh my!

We are in Waihi at the moment dodging thunderstorms. So far so good. Oliver and I went out looking for Pokemon this afternoon and instead found lots of puddles, so he came home soaked as only little boys can do.

Today we saw a gold mine, panned for gold, bush walk in karangahake gorge even though disused tramway tunnels left over from the gold days, then lunch at a nearby winery where I had the degustation which was a glass of every wine they made. Yum yum. Fingers crossed for the weather tomorrow
