Gluten free diet

I've just found out that Flora, Tonicha's friend has to have a gluten free diet.

Any ideas? I haven't a clue - and I'll be cooking..............Help!!

Just means no bread, unless you bake it with gluten-free flour, no pasta or noodles. Rice is fine, so are spuds, fruit, veggies, meat, eggs etc. It's bread which is the biggie really, I don't suppose gluten-free stuff is easy to get in Portugal, It is easier here nowadays, all the supermarkets stock it.

I have the impression that Portugal is not a ready-meal, ping cuisine, sort of place - gluten hell, so I imagine that gluten free is very easy.

Just go for fresh veg, fruits and meats and you will be good to go, Ton.

I meant the flour for bread, or ready made bread, not ready meals!

Thanks for t hat though, I wasn't sure - knew about the bread, doubt very much if we can find anything like that here, but I'll have a look tomorrow. Also, thinking about the bread here, it only lasts a day, and I'll ask a friend about it, she'll know.

She doesn't need bread, she can eat meat, chips, rice and salad, don't worry about it till she's there.
But actually, standard Ryvita - and Lidl own crispbread, are rye, which she can probably eat, if she needs to.
But, basically, no big deal x

She'll be on holiday so will eat what's available and make changes as necessary I'm sure.
