Good morning Monday

Good morning. :D

Flippin hot! 8-) 8-)

Getting picked up at 9am by David and we're yomping a trail in Pizarra. It's a beautiful little place and I'm really looking forward to it. :D

It's timed to take four and a half hours - but we seem to take much longer as we stop loads for photos and food!

David's on holiday for a fortnight so we can get another sneaky climb in next week. :D :D :D

This evening I shall probably stay in and watch some TV, Only Connect for a starter! - plus I have my Russian student tomorrow who I think will keep me on my toes.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally and everyone

Rather pleasant this morning 8-)

Enjoy your yomp Ally x

Washing machine on and we're having to stay in this morning, as Nelson is coming round to sort the pool out - the iron in the water won and it went green and is now black  :? We've already put the treatment in, he now has to work his magic :D We had planned on going out to spend some money, but that will have to wait until tomorrow.

So I'll be a domestic goddess this morning and sit and read this afternoon.

Salad for dinner ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all. Hope you are all well.

We're back from our visit to Suffolk to attend a relative's wedding, and had a lovely time.
The part we enjoyed most, however, was our stay in the wonderful large Suffolk village of Lavenham. This must surely be the largest collection of listed timbered houses in England, most of which were built before 1500, - not just the odd one here and there, but whole streets full of them. And then there is Lavenham's greatest glory, the magnificent parish church. If you like oldie - worldly places, then I certainly recommend a visit. It is fantastic.

Now we're back home, and I have lots of jobs to get stuck into.

Have a nice day.

Morning all :)

Ally, have a great yomp! I think you're very sensible to have lots of stops, no point rushing it in that heat! :)

Ton, I hope Nelson can sort out the pool! When does your granddaughter arrive? :) xxxx

Well, it's Monday so WW is on the agenda ;) I seem to have been roped in to help out on a regular basis :) I'm in the 'shop' helping to take fees and also the money for the goods they sell there. I don't mind, it's fun, plus I get a free cuppa for helping out

We had a nice evening out, but eating so late will play havoc on the scales this morning  Not to worry, it was well worth it to catch up with family. P seems very happy now he's retired, and M has decided to take early retirement from her teaching job next year, so they were very relaxed, and it was good to hear about how S has been getting on out in China :)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all,

Bright sunny and quie cool here.

Just work for me during the day and finsishing putting the bike back together tonight. Long weekend of fighting with the bike, seems the water pump part was non replaceable outside a machine shop. I "improvised".

Ton, we've wound up replacing the pool water every 2-3 years due to the fact that the above ground pools don't curculate well enough. Good luck with the treatement.

Have a great day all.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here :D

Enjoy your yomp Ally.

Lots of banging going on here, it's visit two from the woodworm peeps. They're doing our bedroom, the bathroom and the kitchen/diner and then it's all done. We'll be sleeping in the spare bedroom this week and probably most of next. The windows have been painted white to stop people seeing in and Steve's doing some hardboard to put up at night.......all great fun   Steve's only come in this morning to help out with moving furniture and pulling up some of the floor in the kitchen, very kind of him, so we'll need to stay in until the woodworm guys finish. Hoping to get out for some fresh air later.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Afternoon all!

It's gone quite dull here after a sunny and humid start. Billy's had his walk, might get out with him again later before the rain starts. There was a picture on Facebook last night with the caption "I don't take my dog for walks, he leads expeditions"' and I thought that summed up walks with Billy perfectly. Once we get around the back of the houses I say "Which way Bill?" and off he goes along whichever path he chooses. Every now and again he stops at a fork in the path so I just ask him again
I bought some grass seed earlier, I'm hoping to green up the patches we have on the lawn so I've worked on that for a while.

There's not much else going on here today. I need to pop to Tesco later for a pizza for John to cook tomorrow night for him and Joe. It's funny, when I stayed later at the meet up and arranged to meet John at the station I texted Tom and asked him to rustle up some dinner with whatever he found in the kitchen and he made them a nice pasta meal. I couldn't do that with John, it's a pizza or nothing and I usually come back to a tale of how the pizza got burnt

Looking forward to hearing about the yomp!

Have a good day all!
