They do an Oirish ballad show for tourists several nights a week, but also have other gigs occasionally. The man who promotes these shows, V, has long been offering us tickets "just turn up, I'll look after you" but we have never liked to actually ask.
Next Saturday they have a Beatles tribute group on and we had actually said it could be fun. Tonight, Mr Osc went out to put some stuff in the public bin and met V on the street. "What are you doing on Saturday night?" says V - "Nothing, so far as I know" says Mr Osc. "Well you are doing something now" says V, and hands him two tickets!! Rather looking forward to it, and if Mr Osc hadn't gone out the door at that exact time, he would have missed V
