Good morning. :D

Uber hot forecast again. 8-)

A swim with Pierce first then a stroll along the beach front before a big touristy English breakfast.

Heading back to our town early afternoon - we want to see Conor for a little while before he heads off for a week's holiday with Lucia. :D

Jose's tonight for us two for a few beers and a Chinese takeaway. :D

Have a good day everyone.

It's difficult to book a holiday as you have use school holidays they said
Now in my opinion I would take the kids out of school for a week early July or June . And risk a fine
So we shall see

Morning all :D

Lovely and sunny here 8-)

Not likely to get out and enjoy it though, have piles of washing to do and I've only got the washing machine this weekend. Think we lose the kitchen sink Monday afternoon

Well done to our hockey girls. We used the red button yesterday evening and watched Tom Daley in the heats. He was absolutely brilliant and finished first, fingers tightly crossed he can do as well in the final.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all, absolutely miserable day here  Oh well, I shall just have to do some ironing then  Out tonight at that Beatles tribute band in the pub next door. Miss Osc and family are in Cork for the weekend visiting my nieces and their children, hope the weather is better there than here although I don't think it is. Have a nice day everyone :)

We spoke to an English couple yesterday Saundra who said it was too hot for them and they couldn't wait to get home to cloud and rain. :o

Hope your family have a lovely time despite the heat and enjoy themselves. xx

Good morning all, it's sunny at the moment here after lots of rain and it's very windy.

No plans today apart from buy some bananas and see my parents tonight. I think John's going cycling this afternoon, depending on the weather.

Had a great time with Joe yesterday. We had an hour to kill when we got into Manchester so Joe decided he'd like to see the players leave their hotel so, like a pair of stalkers, we went and stood outside the Lowry until they got on their bus. I loved that, not just seeing the team but watching Joe interact with other supporters, he was chatting away so easily to people, young and old, and I thought "Yep, you've grown up so much" :) Once we got to the stadium he had to decide which player he was going to curse by buying a new shirt with a player's name on. Last season it was Memphis, this year poor Anthony Martial is the one destined for a bad season

Saundra, that's what we've always done, gone out of season when it's a bit cooler because none of us are really suited to heat (John's freckly and a former red head, Tom's a red head and me and Joe are pale and blondish  ) Certainly in the 6 weeks holiday though John has difficulty taking time off with his job but we've sometimes worked it by booking around the Oct and May half terms or Easter so that they had some days off school and we were also away during the holiday. That was all before the fines came in though but it could be cheaper to pay the fine and go term time than go during the Summer holidays when prices are inflated.

Have a good day all!
