It was an early start, out of here by 7.30am but of course we hit rush hour traffic a couple of times, especially around the M25, so didn't get to Gatwick until well after 10, and her flight was due in at 9.25!! The flight, however, was delayed an hour so we were there in good time to meet her! I was really excited, in fact I didn't sleep well at all so am tired now
B looks very well, but has a very sunburnt forehead from the whale watch trip last Saturday - despite wearing factor 50 We stopped at Cobham services for a cuppa and a sandwich - she didn't eat on the plane - and then she slept all the way home. Pepper and Fraggle were soooo excited to see her, but Fraggle is now 'guarding' her suitcase, I think to stop her going again! We have the first load of washing on already - I put a capful of Dettol in with her teeshirts, just in case, as there was virulent parvo out there, very dangerous for dogs
So happy to have her home, thanks everyone for all the support, for her and for me!
PS Ria I think you missed where I posted last week about B coming home early, as you asked about it the other day? She found out that they give out the references to interns after two months, and that very few stay much longer than that, so decided to come home to get her driving test and then look for a paid animal job here. She got a really fab reference, I popped it on the Families board the other day xxxx
