Morning all
Ally, I remember that - it can be a spookily small world online sometimes
Have a fab day with your friends, then your mum and dad
xxxx
Jo, that's a quick turnaround for Tom, glad he's had a great trip an wishing him well for the new year at uni
Aw Ton, hope those panels can be sorted soon! xxx
Well the forecast is decent for us later, but at the moment it's a bit chilly and lots of cloud
I'm sure I must sound like the Met Office sometimes, but honestly I live for the good weather, especially at weekends
Usual Saturday here, lunch out then round to see D later
She didn't get back from Ireland until gone 7pm last night, so her 80th birthday was mostly spent travelling but I think we gave her a nice evening - a fish and chips takeaway from her fave chippy (I knew she'd be too tired to eat out) and pressie opening afterwards
Our gift of a big photo frame with pics of the whole family in was a success, and we got her a few other bits and piece - a cherub for her garden, a very posh scented candle in a lovely glass jar with a lid and a big bunch of flowers.........B got her a ceramic candle with a fox on (D loves foxes) and my sister in law and I managed to get her the same birthday card
The whole family are coming up next weekend (well, those that are in the country, anyway) and we are having a day out -
Westonbirt Arboretum is the plan at the moment - and then a meal out
Harry will probably be here too - I am hoping so
Have a good day everyone
