Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 21 Sep 2016, 05:03

Good morning. :D

A fine day forecast. 8-)

Taking Jackie & Sue to the airport at 9am (they've had a fantastic time and going home as brown as berries  ) Once I've dropped them off it's straight to mum and dad's to pick them up and take them over to Iceland for mum to fill their little freezer.

Back over here late afternoon then I have work 6 - 9.

I'll record GBBO and watch it at 10pm then DCI Banks which I also love.

Have a great day everyone. :D

Good morning, it's a dull one here - Jackie and Sue will be wishing that they'd stayed longer Ally! Glad they've had a good break though :D

Doing a bit of shopping first thing and then I'll walk Billy. Joe's in college all day today.

My hair's grown enough that it's now in a short bob but the fringe has been annoying me lately. I've been constantly pushing it off my face and behind my ear or clipping it back. My next hair appointment isn't until Oct 19th and I planned to get my fringe chopped off then but I decided enough was enough at Midnight and got the scissors out

Have a good day all :D

Morning all :D

Looks like we're in for another sunny day.

Safe flight to Jackie and Sue. Sounds like you've all had a great time together Ally.

I'm off out for coffee with the ladies this morning. Not sure about this afternoon, depends if we need to stay out of Steve's way. The bathroom's tiled, he just needs to get the sink back in place and do the grouting. Hallway today.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning everyone

A misty, hazy start to the day - should get some sunshine later 8-)

Safe journey to your friends Ally.

Off into Ourique later, have a load of things to do, including more paperwork and money for the pool   Only 10.50 this time.

And tonight we have a dreaded 25th wedding anniversary meal to go to. Really not wanting to go, especially as we're having to travel almost an hours drive and then pay 32€ for the meal. The happy couple are providing wine :? We know a couple of people going, but not the rest and they're all English

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning you lot

Ally that time really flew by. As Jo says - the two of them will wish they've extended their holiday. They left the UK in OK summer weather and are returning to autumn ;)
Jo, I really need to get my hair cut but resent paying as much as they charge here in London. May risk SuperCut or whatever it's called over the weekend. As for the fringe - I always cut it myself as I only have a proper hair cut every 6 months or so
Saundra, enjoy pottering in the garden and hope you get done what you want.
Jen it's really getting there isn't it - not much longer now.
Ton, hope tonight isn't as bad as you're expecting. An hour drive is a long way though - I take it there was no way you could have either stayed overnight with someone or politely declined and sent a gift instead? Or invited them to yours and they stay overnight?

Usual work day for me then home for a bit more pootling and GBBO

Have a lovely day all xx

Sadly not Ria - it's people we know from here and everything is miles away - the next nearest town is 17kms

We don't even know what we'll be eating

Morning all :)

I am out and about in town early. The carpet fitters turned up at 8 as arranged so as I am seeing my client today I was dressed in my smart clothes early, as I knew I wouldnt be able to get into my bedroom or bathroom later, and out of the house early to leave them to it!

Ally your friends will have had a fab holiday :D Wishing them a safe journey home :)

Jo my hair has been fine for ages, now suddenly it's a mess so I think I'll get it cut this week if I can nab Shireen!

Jen you aren't the only one dodging workmen today :D Have a good one xx

I hope the party will be more enjoyable than you think Ton ((x))
Mick has the day off to help them move the furniture and Becks is keeping the dogs out of their way. I think I drew the long straw really as I am currently in the M&S cafe killing time until my appointment

Ria I am happy with Shireen at our supercuts she is really good but not being able to make appointments there, being walk in, means I have to catch her on her days in!

Morning Saundra :)

Have a good day everyone xxx

Good morning all. Hope you are all well.

It's not very bright here, but we're not going anywhere today.
Yesterday we had a coach-trip to Hereford and the beautiful Laskett Gardens.
Fortunately it didn't rain, and we had a lovely time.

Nothing much planned for today, except for a Mad Hatter's Tea Party in our Owners' Lounge.

Have a nice day.

Afternoon :)
Well as you know it's Bb's birthday, the sun has shined a little on him, between the clouds :)
He had his proper present a couple of weeks ago (the beard trimmer) so just little bits today (polo shirts, etc).
I was at the hospital earlier and the Co-op's near there, so I came home with a bag of extra happy birthdays in the form of sausage rolls for elevenses, their lovely onion baguettes for lunch (well, one between us) and carrot cake for later :D
There were ribs in the freezer, so that's what he's chosen for his birthday dinner, with wedges and coleslaw - awfully easy to please someone who loves their food :D

Kaz your house is going to smell so good, that's the best bit about new carpets :D
