This is where we went.
I did post last night, but it's disappeared
The food was brilliant, really good. Not worth what we paid for it, but the starter of melon, presunto, grapes, hot goats cheese, with balsamic vinegar on it more than made up for it
Grumpy made a new friend, called Jan and they chatted all the way through the meal.
But it was as we thought, full of self-important loud brits, with a couple of not so bad one's.
I was asked to the coffee morning, but said no. Asked to go to the gardening club, declined, asked to go to the book club, politely declined.
We'll be going back to the restaurant (the chef is a cousin of our friend Dimas from Encalho) as it really wasn't as far away as we thought. Not often, as it is a good half hours drive, but will be back.
