Good Morning Monday

Postby JoM » 26 Sep 2016, 06:22

Good Morning! It's a wet one here!

I'm off to the gym shortly and I need to pop into town afterwards. If the rains stops I'll walk Billy and hopefully we can go for a run tonight.

Have a good day all!

Morning all :)

Jo, it's wet and dull here too! Oh well, it is autumn after all so we have to expect it  ;) Venturing out soon to WW, then probably into town with Emma, and J if she's there - her mum hasn't been well lately so she's not at every meeting. Only eight days until we start our holiday  :D Better start thinking about what to pack!!

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning everyone

Started out grey and yucky looking, now have blue sky and sunshine - not that warm yet though ;)

Grumpy is going to cut a little more off the tree - we've given it a reprieve and lopped off the lower branches. Then he's going to do something else - he's not sure if it's fencing or staining. I have no idea what I'll be doing, if the dogs are locked in, then I'll attack the over-grown shrubs - over-grown from their side

Will venture in the pool again later -brrrr

Cruiser, I though you were giving up?

Have a good day everyone, stay dry xx

Morning all :D

Looks like the sun's trying to come out.

Typical Monday phoning people pushing things back again, the fireplace, blinds etc, hopefully for the last time  Steve's here working on the kitchen floor, this time the sink and cooker side so we'll be off out shortly to keep out of the way. It is all coming together, but oh so slowly.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Kaz, you should definitely be packing!

We started to sort out an itinerary last night. Well, I listed the days that we're in LA down in a Note on my iPad and John watched a few videos on YouTube about things to do - the Warner Bros Studio Tour which looks good (the boys were too young to do that the last time we were there) and bus tours of the homes of the stars which he really seems to want to do for some strange reason but which looks downright dull and the waste of a few hours if you ask me

Afternoon all, it started off wet and miserable but is nice now and I have washing out. Mr Osc is going out to play golf shortly. I think I'll have a walk and then I want to concentrate on a little cardi I am knitting for Kellie.

Now  A week before you go  For goodness sake woman, what are you at! I have been planning for ages with three weeks to go, and am already thinking about possible clothes to take IF we go away for NY! Honestly, some people are just soooo disorganised  :P

I got my lovely new leather Top Shop Ebay bargain bag out of the wardrobe earlier, I bought it months ago but have been saving it to use as my carry on bag. It's a start!

And Saturday is the momentous day when October's inflight movie list appears on the Virgin site. I only ever seem to sit still long enough to watch a movie or two when I'm flying long haul so there'd better be some good ones  I did look just before Tom flew though and it said that Finding Dory was going to be added for October and I do want to see that. I'll have to find happy movies, we can't have a repeat of the sobfest which was our flight to New York a few years ago when I watched Marley and Me, I'd seen it already so knew what happened (and cried all the way home from the cinema) but thought I'd be okay to watch it a second time. Wrong

Ooh Jo, I didn't know you could do that! I've just looked on Aer Lingus to see what films they have, not sure if they change for October though, it doesn't seem to give the dates :? So I will just have to keep checking :D

hello everyone. It's quite nippy here now; I had to pop out a bit earlier today and it was lovely and warm but now it's overcast and chilly :( . I'm waiting for my niece Leonie to arrive - she's been in Latvia and Estonia for a few days (10 I think it was) and is finishing off her holiday with a 10 day visit to me. She landed at 1pm up in Stansted so I'm expecting her about 3.30 and hopefully I can leave at 4 - if not 4.30 latest (but still need to ask big boss ;) )

Hope you're all having a good day x
